On Wednesday, March 24, 2021, the Principal of IPRC Huye Maj. Dr. Barnabe TWABAGIRA met with new students in Advanced Diploma. He called them to respect all measures to curb the spread of COVID_19 Pandemic and comply with academic rules and regulations and students code of conduct.

Before noon at IPRC Huye Football playground, The Principal met with new students and had an occasion to welcome them officially. During this meeting, The Principal presented to those new comers the Institution’s Authorities including The Deputy Principal in charge of Academics and Trainings, the Corporate Services Division Manager, Directors and Heads of Departments.

In his remarks, the Principal invited students not to be distracted by anything but focus on their courses and follow all rules and regulations.

“This is a great opportunity given to you to study in a Polytechnic Institution where you will gain the quality of education. Do not make it into vain! I urge you to learn effectively and get the best results. You have many chances because from the hands-on-skills, you will be able to create your own jobs or be employed. Besides, I call you to follow all taken measures to restrain the spread of COVID_19 Pandemic and comply with academic rules and regulations and students code of conduct.” Maj. NYAKAYIRU Yvan, a fresher in Civil Engineering Department – Construction Technology Option and one of new students, thanked the management of IPRC Huye for their kind hospitality and promise to pay attention on their studies, discipline and all other advice from the Principal’s remarks.

During this meeting, students had time to ask various questions and get answered.
