On Thursday, September 30, 2021, Honorable Senator UMUHIRE Adrie, Chairperson of the Committee on Social Affairs and Human Rights at Rwanda Senate alongside Honorable Senator Prof. NIYOMUGABO Cyprien visited IPRC Huye. They conversed with The Management and some of students upon various subjects on the College’s life.

The Principal of IPRC Huye Maj. Dr. TWABAGIRA Barnabe welcomed the visitors and presented to them the current situation of the Institution. Prior to the presentation, senators found that there is still a gap of women who join TVET schools.

On this issue of Gender in TVET, The senators have noted that there is a need of different campaigns on country level in order to sensitize females to join TVET for the best of their future.

During this visit, the senators toured various corners of the institution and had more on the ongoing Institution’s projects including the manufacturing of cooking stoves (Muvelo).
