On September 10, 2022, RP-IPRC Huye Women Basketball Club was awarded medals and a cheque of 3M Frw as the 2nd Runner up in Rwanda Basketball National League after winning the match held at BK Arena against Thehoops Rwanda with 58-35 score. 

The Rwanda Polytechnic’s Vice Chancellor Dr. Sylvie MUCYO and DVC-TIDR Prof. Richard MUSABE along with the Principal of IPRC Huye Lt. Col. Dr. Barnabe TWABAGIRA and various officials watched the game and attended the awarding ceremony.
