Recognizing education as a key to development, the late 7 years offering good services, IPRC Huye is now turning world to paradise by equipping its graduates with tangible practical skills with excellent workshops and labs.

IPRC Huye, is one of 8 Rwanda Polytechnic (RP) Colleges.

This Integrated Polytechnic Regional College (IPRC) Huye was established in 2012 and started with a small number of departments but continued to improve day to day whereby now is considered to be the best institution in the region to wrap its graduates with technical skills.

After its inauguration, IPRC Huye raised a number of departments and now there are seven that include; Civil engineering, Mechanical engineering, Electrical technology, Electronics and telecommunication technology and Information, Communication and Technology (ICT), Crop production engineering and veterinary technology.

Besides a three year programs, IPRC Huye delivers short course trainings through TVET Programs like Plumbing, Welding, Masonry, ICT, Carpentry, Hospitality that sum up fields like Culinary Art, Food and Beverage service, Front Office Operation and Housekeeping, Domestic electrical installation, Agro-mechanization, Irrigation Technology and Painting.

IPRC Huye has other additional departments such as Languages and Entrepreneurship and Sciences that help students to implement their skills more easily and to be competent at work market.

NEP Kora wigire has awarded IPRC Huye for being the best institution to offer practical skills in the region.

IPRC Huye was formerly care taken on Kavumu ground in Southern Province of Rwanda,Nyanza district,Busasamana village.

In 2012, it shifted to former ESO which is located in Southern Province of Rwanda,Huye district, Ngoma sector,Butare cell,Bukinanyana village on the road from Huye City Complex Market to CHUB.
