Belgium youth from Ganshoren Dames Basket visit IPRC Huye
Belgium young female basketball players from Ganshoren Dames Basket alongside their trainers pay a one week visit to IPRC Huye with the ambition of exchanging culture through sports and other various activities.
This visit that has been organized by the global Non-profit Organization “IRIBA” brings 13 young female basketball players with their 4 trainers to spend a week living IPRC Huye and exchanging their culture with their colleagues who plays in Institutional Women Basketball Club.
Meeting The Principal of IPRC Huye Maj. Dr. TWABAGIRA Barnabe On Tuesday, July 09, 2019, this delegation got an overview of the College and the general structure of TVET Education system in Rwanda.
This was a vital occasion to tour various corners of the Institution include Electrical lab, Civil Engineering lab, Mechanical Engineering, Hospitality, ICT and Electronics workshops. The young Belgians were impressed by these learning facilities and students’ innovative projects.
All of this aim to help these pre-university students to have an account on Rwandan culture as well as to explore more about the life in Africa.
As said by IRIBA Management, diverse activities are expected to be done during this visit like the renovation of IPRC Huye basketball playground, inter-culture performances, friendly basketball matches and visit of the Institute of the National Museums of Rwanda located in Southern province, Huye district and Nyungwe national park.
This delegation of 17 Belgians arrived in Rwanda on 06th July 2019 and will depart on 21st July 2019.
